On what would have been the Varsity Softball teams last home regular season game (May 18th), the program wanted to honor the three seniors who missed out on their final High School sports season. Peyton Boden, Haley Curd and Lexi Border were still given a senior night but in a different way this year; through a drive by parade. Coaches and members of the softball program drove by each of the three seniors houses, despite the rain, honking and waving to thank the girls for their hard work and dedication they have given the program the past four years. Signs and gifts were put in their yard, joining the signs put up by the High School earlier in the day. We kept the parade a secret and all three seniors were very surprised and thankful for the chance to be honored in their own special way. Coach Chaperon is heartbroken the girls did not get the season and the senior night they deserved and hopes they each know how special they are to Gladiator softball and to coach herself.
