The Varsity softball team improved to 13-9 Tuesday night with the sweep of league opponent St. John's. Game one came down to the final inning when after St. John's tied the game at one at the top of the inning. With one out for the Gladiators, Ginelle Leslie hit a walk-off homerun to win the game 2-1. Leah Ash pitched the complete game giving up 4 hits while striking out 9 Redwing batters. 

The Gladiators started game two right where they left off in game one; scoring 5 runs with two outs in the first inning on a homerun from Morgan Byerle and a grand slam from Ginelle Leslie. Leah Ash pitched the first inning allowing one hit and struck out one. Carlie Atcheson finished the game pitching the final 3 innings allowing two hits while striking out two. The game ended after four innings with a score of 16-0 in the Gladiators favor. 

The team is now 13-9 overall, 7-1 league.
