The cross country girls competed in the second CAAC Red duel against a top ranked St Johns team on September 22. St. Johns put three girls in front leading them to a 18-39 victory over the Gladiators. The Lady Glads were lead by senior Lilly Copeland placing 4th overall with a time of 22:01. Sophomore Avery Copeland placed 6th with a time of 22:24 with sophomore Annie Beach right on her heels placing 8th in a time of 22:30. In a personal best time for Molly, freshman Molly Kilpela (22:52) and sophomore Alaina Borowy (22:58) worked together placing 10th and 11th to round out the scoring for the Glads. Junior Gabby Damerow place 13 with a time of 23:13 and sophomore Allie Davis ran a season's best 23:51 moving into the top 7 to round out the varsity. 

Juniors Reagan Esch (24:17) and Jenna Gill (24:18) worked together to lead the JV squad placing 17th and 18th respectively. Trisha Seiter (25:17), Amanda Fogo (26:46),  Isabella Damerow (27:12) and birthday girl, Ramsey Lukasik (27:45), rounded out the JV team. 

The Lady Glads will be racing next on Saturday, September 26  hosting the 1st Annual DeCamp Ekiden XC Relay. Boys run at 9am and girls run at 9:45am.
