The girls cross country team faced Williamston on Tuesday, September 15th in their first CAAC Red duel of the season. The Lady Glads ran a strong race defending their home course beating Williamston 21-39. 
On the Varsity squad the Lady Glads took 5 of the top 7 spots. Senior Lilly Copeland led all runners crossing the line first with a time of 21:52. Crossing in third place was sophomore Annie Beach with a time of 22:07 with sophomore Avery Copeland right on her heels placing 4th in a time of 22:25. Freshman Molly Kilpela (23:10) and sophomore Alaina Borowy (23:36.4) rounded out the scoring placing 6th and 7th respectively.  Packing right with the varsity was junior Gabby Damerow placing 8th in a time of 23:48. Junior Reagan Esch placed 10th in a time of 24:35.8 to complete the varsity squad.

The Junior Varsity girls looked very impressive with many of them in front of Williamston's Varsity. The JV team was lead by junior Jenna Gill with a time of 24:38. Allie Davis (24:43), Trisha Seiter (25:28), Amanda Fogo (26:04) all came in ahead of Williamston's varsity.  Senior Ramsey Lukasik (28:21) and Freshman Izzy Damerow (29:19) rounded out the squad. Great start to the conference ladies! The team will compete next in CAAC Red duel #2 in St. Johns on September 22.
