Junior Tyler Perras earned the Athlete of the Meet award for his gutsy performance in the final 1000m of the race. Tyler surged and passed a Parchment runner with 600m to go and held off the diving runner at the finish line to secure 4th place to give the Gladiators the 1 point they needed to earn their first win over Lansing Catholic in program history. Congrats Tyler on the great performance!
The Gladiators next competition will be on Tuesday September 15th as they will host the Williamston Hornets in the first of four CAAC Red dual meet match-ups. The races will start and finish on the East Access Fields. The boys race will start at 5:00p.
