Girls Junior Varsity Softball take two from Ionia

The girls battled it out for the first couple of innings and then took off for the win. The girls were able to get six runs arcoss the plate in the third inning. Josie Cruz, Mara Menard, Ashlee Dailey, Hannah Ray, Zoey Yuergens, and Ari Eggleston all drove in runs. Mara Menard allowed three hits and striking out five.
In the second game the girls battled back and forth again in the beginning and then sealed the deal in the fifth inning with getting six runs in. Ashlee Dailey was able to drive in four runs. Lillian Thomas and Hannah Ray also drove in runs. Hallie Dargie allowed two hits and struck out seven.
The girls play Parma Western on Thursday and are now 19-0-1
