The girls were able to obtain another couple of wins out of Portland on Thursday. In the first game they were able to rack up 14 hits. Hannah Ray, Zoey Yuergens, Josie Cruz, Heather Gendron, and Ashlee Dailey all managed multiple hits. Ashlee Dailey went 3 for 4. Dargie was able to strike out 7 and allowed 2 runs over four innings.
The girls started the second game out rough with errors, which allowed Portland to score on those errors. Although, the girls did not let that get to them. They fought through and were able to come out on the winning side of score board. Heather Gendron was a star at the plate driving in five runs on three hits. Mara Menard was able to strike out five batters.
The girls winning streak continues to live on (knock on wood). They are now 11-0-1. The girls play at home on Tuesday against Haslett
