The Gladiators traveled to Lansing Everett and came away with a 6-3 defeat. The girls came out in the first half and had the majority of possession but defensive lapses led to Everett getting 5 goals from 7 shots. After a halftime adjustment the Gladiators came out a different team. The played with purpose and still controlled the game through their passing. Cierra Henley started the comeback with a goal soon after the start of the 2nd half. The Gladiators continued pressing and a great combination play led to a goal by Arianna Crossman from assists by Cadence Dreher and Ashli Terris. The Gladiators continued to press and earned a penaty shot that was converted by Cadence Dreher making the score 5-3. Everett took advantage of the pressure and the Gladiators momentum was stopped by a goal by going right through the defense and beating the keeper to make the final score 6-3. The Gladiators next game is Thursday at Williamston and then on Saturday they travel to Portland to play in the Portland Invitational.
