The boys JV basketball team won its home opener on Tuesday by defeating Cheryl Stockwell Academy 65-33. A balanced scoring attack was used to improve the team’s record to 2-0. Nolan Southgate had 12 points, Colin Munsell had 11, Carter Young and Caleb Chappell added 10 points each. The boys are back in action Thursday against Lansing Eastern.
