The Glads traveled to Haslett on Tuesday night and came away with a disappointing 2-0 defeat. Most of the 1st half was a back and forth game with few opportunities for either team. The best chance came right before halftime when the ball was moved from side to side and then found space through the Haslett defense. Unfortunately, the Glads did not make the correct run and the keeper smothered the ball to keep the game 0-0 at the half. The 2nd half started and a mental breakdown that gave Haslett the opening goal. On a corner kick, the marking fell apart and left a wide open Haslett player to head the ball into the net. The Glads settled down and the game went back and forth again until the 2nd mental mistake happened with one center back stepping when he should of but the other stepped to late. This gave Haslett the 2 goal advantage but the Glads did not give up and had a few opportunities of their own but had no one there to finish it off. With the defeat it brings the season record to 1-2-1 with the next match at Williamston on Thursday the 24th.
