The Glads traveled to Grand Ledge on Thursday and came away with a heartbreaking 3-0. Self inflicted mistakes led to the opening goal in the first 30 seconds of the game. On the kick off the Glads relaxed and passed the ball all of the way to the back line and Grand Ledge pounced on a lazy pass into a wide open net. The score remained 1-0 at to the break. After halftime the Glads came out with more fight and the game evened out until the next mistake. Grand Ledge crossed the ball and a Glad not in the correct defensive position knocked the ball into the net making it 2-0. The game again was back and forth in possession until a great run of play by Grand Ledge opened up and the scored their third making the final score 3-0. Ty Bialobrzeski did a great job of holding play in the midfield for the Glads and getting a couple of shots. Noah Laimonis linked well with his teammates in the 2nd half and had a couple of shots. Ethan Adams did an amazing job holding the defense together and effectively communicated the entire game. The Glads next game is Tuesday the 22nd at Haslett.
