The Gladiators traveled to Mason on Tuesday night and came away with a close 3-2 defeat. Scoring 30 seconds into the game the Glads came out flying. Moving the ball well inside to outside and back to the middle. Connecting on the passes was Joey Shea to Constantin Jung to Nick Atkinson to Joey Soave setting up the goal by Luke Spalding. The Glads defense lapsed on pressure the ball leading to Mason scoring 3 goals in the first half. Right before the halftime break Preston Szura found Nick Atkinson with a pass and Nick fired a shot that was deflected and found the back of the net. That brought Nick's goal tally up to 15 on the season. The second half was a defensive effort by both teams. The Glads next game is Thursday the 26th at St. Johns.
