Sportsmanship:

We all have a role in displaying good sportsmanship at all sporting events. Athletes are in the spotlight; we see them respect fellow athletes, coaches and officials everyday.

Coaches observe and enforce the guidelines of good sportsmanship. Parents have the real job of teaching sportsmanship and ensuring that the foundation is instilled at home. We all bear the responsibility of influencing young people on a daily basis.

Spectators, just because we buy a ticket it does not mean we have the right to ridicule the athletes, coaches or officials. Watch your thoughts and words as they become your actions. Watch your actions as they become your habits. Watch your habits as they become your character. Watch your character as it will become your destiny.

Student Sections, please remember that you are at the game to support your fellow classmates. Administrators want you to have fun while supporting your team through positive sportsmanship. Eliminate negative cheers, encourage the student body to get involved and don’t forget we want to work with you to have a good time cheering for your team!
