Three Fowlerville High School multi-sport student athletes started their Mountain Bike racing season at Hickory Glen Park in Wixom Sunday as members of the Brighton High School Mountain Bike club. 

In the 15.9 mile Varsity race, junior Brock Howard placed 9th with a time of 1:07:11. 

Sophomore Ben Showerman finished with a time of 1:11:32, in his debut race as a Bulldog. 

Another newcomer to the team, freshman Ryder Lukasik placed 5th in the 10.6 mile Novice race, with a time of 50:33. 

The boys will race next at Addison Oaks in Leonard on Sunday September 13th.
