Fowlerville senior Joe Palyj, son of Bonnie and John Palyj, made his commitment to Adrian College and the Track & Field program official on Thursday, April 16th  by signing his letter of intent! He will continue his academic and athletic careers for the Adrian Bulldogs in the fall of 2020 while pursuing a degree in Athletic Training.

As a Gladiator, Palyj was been a key performer on our playoff Football team and in our successful Track program. Joe has been an all-league performer along with being a huge part of our 2018 CAAC White Championship Track team and MITCA Team State qualifying team! Joe is also an incredible student, he was recently honored as a CAAC Scholar Athlete! Joe is a very talented athlete, a fantastic leader but more importantly a phenomenal person!

Joe wanted to add," I would like to thank the entirety of the staff at FHS for the support over the past four years, with a special thanks to Coach Maurer for getting me interested in track and field in junior high, and Coach Rickens, Coach Atlee, and Coach Shrader for all helping me push myself to be the best athlete I could be throughout high school. And of course my parents, for giving me endless support and always finding a way to make things work, without them, I wouldn't be where I am today.”
