The Freshman Volleyball Team competed in their first high school tournament at Linden on Friday, August 23rd. They competed against five teams in pool play (Linden, Bay City Central, Swartz Creek, Goodrich and Lake Fenton), placing 2nd in pool play with a record of 6-4. This placing them in the Gold Bracket. 

They played the semi-final game against Goodrich, who they split in pool play (25-10; 21-25), but won in two sets to move to the Championship verse the first placed team Linden (9-1). Who defeated them in pool play in both sets, but it didn't stop the Lady Glads in competing and playing to three sets, taking the the third set to clinch the Gold Bracket for the champions! (19-25; 25-16; 15-10)

The girls improved throughout the day in their first high school play. Looking forward to see how they compete during the season.
