Gladiators…the past weekend was a busy one for me. I have been working on a plan for Step 1 of Re-Opening Athletics. It sounds easy to have small groups and modify what we normally do but there are details that need to be ironed out so we can provide the best/safest return for our students, coaches and staff. I am asking our athletes for a favor…regardless of what sport you play in these times many athletes have become “De-Conditioned.” For your well-being please take care of your mind and your body. Please consider downloading the following apps of joining the following meetings.

Mental Conditioning: Calm App, Champions Mind App -  these both will provide some guidance until we can regroup and they might even give you an edge!

Physical Conditioning: Spartan Performance (Coach Austin) will be hosting a workout on Fridays for our kids. During the week please continue to run, build your core and execute general body weight exercises (or weighted if you have the equipment). On Fridays...join your fellow Gladiators and get a guided session in with Coach Austin. Remember…if you don’t have a reliable internet connection please feel free to work out in the parking lot of the HS! You might feel weird doing it but how important is it to you?
